Following on the success of the Pop-Up Resturant trend in the last couple of years, 2 new "pop-up" retail stores will open this weekend in Sandpoint.A pop-up store is where the store opens for only a short period of time at a location then closes and may or may not re-open again in the future.These 2 pop-up stores are The Genuine Shoppe which features handmade arts,crafts and collectables and the second store is Marche Downtown which will sell local and regional fine foods and drinks.The 2 will sell mostly locally made items and will be located in the Bellwood's Furniture Building at 301 Cedar St. in Sandpoint. The hours of operation for the 2 stores will be Thursday Mar. 1st- 5-8pm for an opening party which will have some food and live entertainment, Friday- noon-6pm Saturday- noon-6pm and the last day, Sunday March 4th noon-5pm.
