New restaurants coming to Downtown Spokane

The Village Cafe
The building at 171 S. Washington St. in Downtown Spokane that's been home to some of Spokane's most popular bars/venues is finally open once again with a new establishment called The Village Cafe. The building which was last The Empyrean Coffee House and at one time, The Big Dipper will host the new business which will be similar to the former businesses.


The Village Cafe also sells beer and wine and hosts live music regularly and intends to also maintain a family friendly atmosphere 


Bowl'z Bitez and Spirits
Bowl'z Bitez and Spirits is a new restaurant as well as being a hot spot for nightlife and similarly to the Village Cafe this new business will also offer live music for local musicians on a regular basis . Bowl'z Bitez and Spirits is on the ground floor of the Paulsen Building in the 400 blk. of W. Riverside Ave. They will offer both lunch and dinner. 


Cannon Coffee and Cone
This new coffee shop is not exactly Downtown but nearby at 1945 w. 4th Ave in the Browne's Addition neighborhood. Cannon Coffee and Cone  offers all of the coffee shop staples one would come to expect like Espresso,latte's ,baked goods,etc.. but they also offer ice cream from the Spokane based Brain Freeze Creamery. 


Beignets
Beignets is a new restaurant that's is bringing something new to all together to Downtown Spokane,that's because Beignets is a Crepe restaurant. Beignets is now open behind Madeleine's Cafe about a block east of River Park Square Mall


Chipolte Mexican Grill 
The new Chipolte Mexican Grill in the 900 Block of N Division in between Downtown Spokane and Gonzaga University is the first location of the famous chain in the Spokane market. Chipolte offers gourmet burritos and salads. Chipolte is also probably the only restaurant offering a "burrito bowl" which is a burrito served without the tortilla. 


Loco Dogz
Loco Dogz is popular gourmet hot dog eatery near the Eastern Washington University campus in Cheney.While they are also opening soon near Gonzaga University they have also opened a food truck in the parking lot of the Subway at the corner of 3rd and Browne on the south side of Downtown Spokane.

Boots Bakery & Lounge at 24 W. Main Ave ( Former Rocket Bakery on Main site)
Method Juice Cafe at 718 W. Riverside Ave
EJ's Garden Bistro in Browne's Addition at 1928 W. Pacific Ave.
Quizno's Subs in the same strip mall as the new Chipolte Mexican Grill in the 900 block of N. Division St.
