Black Sheep Sporting Goods has completed consolidating some of it's smaller outlying stores into one new location. The new location is the former Wholesale Sports / Sportsman's Warehouse at 3534 N. Government Way ,directly next door to Costco in Coeur d' Alene. The new store is also quite convenient for the company and it's customers as the new store is only about a quarter mile away from the main Black Sheep store, located off of Seale Dr. just south of the US 95 and Bosanko Dr. intersection.
The new store operates as the Black Sheep Outlet Store and is actually several Black Sheep store's wrapped up into one. For some time Black Sheep had operated a clothing outlet across the main stores parking lot, a clearance store a few miles north on Government Way and a clothing store that operated as part of the sister brand Timberline Trading Co. in the Silver Lake Mall next to Clare's. All have since been closed and the merchandise and staff placed into the new bigger store.
The new building is 47,000 square feet and is now officially open to the public. The outlet store's hours are Wed-Sun. 9am till 6pm. Black Sheep Sporting Goods is a locally owned and operated sporting goods store specializing in items for hunting and fishing as well as outdoor apparel, boots and shoes and more. The main store remains open and there is no word as of yet about any new tenants in the small stores spots that have closed as a result of the store consolidation. However For Lease signs are up on the former clearance center's building
