The AM Radio Stations of Spokane are alive and well. While AM radio may not be listened to quite as much as it once was, Spokane is still home to several AM stations, and one station is expanding on the success it's had from previous locally based radio shows and has launched several more.
KTW which broadcasts on 630 AM is owned and operated by Mutual Broadcasting System,LLC and is somewhat varied in overall format. The station airs programming from a regional Christian broadcasting network as well talk shows, old time radio programs and now the new local radio shows.
