While there has been no shortage of success for the McDonald's chain's Inland Northwest locations. It has been awhile since a new local location has opened. But in August that will change as the first of 2 new McDonald's locations will open it's doors. Here's the scoop-
McDonald's opening at Riverstone in Coeur d' Alene
A brand new 4,300 square foot McDonald's location will open in mid to late August at the corner of Northwest Blvd. and Lakewood, aka the main entrance to the Riverstone mixed use development.
The new location will hold a grand opening celebration and is presently still hiring via the other CDA / Post Falls area McD's locations. The new location will be the 3rd store for Coeur d' Alene.
The new Riverstone McDonald's has peaked some interest locally due to it's location in a upscale area and at the entry to Riverstone, a development that when originally purposed, was to be primarily upscale businesses . The developer's of Riverstone say on their Facebook page that the land the new store sits on is a separate owner and not a part of the development.
McDonald's coming soon to Wandermere
Spokane will also be getting another new McDonald's soon. This time the new location will be in North Spokane in Wandermere area, close by the former Wah Hing Restaurant on N. Division St .
Construction work on the new Wandermere McDonald's began only recently. An opening date for this new location is not yet set but should be in late October or early November of this year.
Work on both new area McDonald's locations is being done by Associated Construction.
