Former Ugly Bettie's building to become Borracho Tacos & Tequileria ( photo )
Only a few weeks ago it was announced that Ugly Bettie's a popular bar in Downtown Spokane would be closing and re-opening as something completely new with new owners. And now we know that the plans for the site call for a new Mexican restaurant to be called Borracho Tacos & Tequileria.

Nothing Bundt Cakes coming to Spokane
With Cupcake bakeries being all the rage in Spokane and all around the nation, specialty bakeries are news but not anything new. But one new specialty bakery coming to Spokane is new, that's because it will be Spokane's first Bundt Cake Bakery.

The next new restaurant coming to Coeur d' Alene this year will be a new location of the Teri Yaki Grill chain of teriyaki restaurants. At this time, we don't know when the new business will open but it is expected to open to the public before fall. Hiring for the new store is already underway and table / chairs and equipment are being installed as we speak.

Maverik gas station chain coming to Coeur d' Alene

2 brick and mortar eateries hit the road with food trucks
Food trucks have been a hot topic in Spokane lately with the Spokane City Council working out new rules and regulations for this rapidly growing industry. But clearly the issues with the city aren't stopping some from opening up shop with new food trucks. In fact 2 of the newest in the Spokane and Coeur d' Alene area are new branches off of existing brick and mortar businesses.
