This is an updated post of a news item announced in April 2013 on this site.
The original post from April, all info is still believed to be accurate-
Washington State's new Health Benefit Exchange being formed as a part of the Affordable Care Act and operating under the name Washington Healthplan Finder will open a new call center in Spokane later this year.
The new Washington Healthplan Finder call center will create about 60 new local jobs and will open in September. No location has been found as of yet for the new office which will be operated under contract with the Virginia based Faneuil Inc.
Faneuil call center employees will also have the back up of staff at another call center in Virginia for overflow calls and callers needing assistance in languages other then English. More to come later this year.....
And now for that more info I promised...
A location for the call center has been located. The new call center will be in Spokane Valley's Pinecroft Business Park. The park itself is along Pines Rd. just north of Mirabeau Pkwy.
The building where the new call center will be is located at 3309 N. Cherry and is a new construction building that has never been occupied. Work on the new building is now underway.
Faneuil is still planning to be operating sometime in September and employ about 60.
