STCU ( Spokane Teachers Credit Union ) is making plans to increase their presence in North Idaho with the upcoming addition of a new branch in Coeur d' Alene . The new branch will be the 4th location in Idaho for the locally based Credit Union.
The new Coeur d' Alene STCU branch is in the planning phase with construction work beginning within the next 18 months. The new branch will be located in the new CrossRoads Coeur d' Alene commercial development at the intersection of Ramsey Rd and W. Appleway. CrossRoads's project site is also better known as the site of the future WinCo Foods grocery store which is currently under construction. The project is being developed by Hughes Investments.
The new STCU branch will be 3,500 square feet and offer 3 drive-though lanes and features similar to STCU's other recently opened branches in South Spokane Valley and the Moran Prairie area. The location is in addition to the other local area branches which can be found on N. Government Way in Dalton Gardens and on Primrose, just off of Hwy. 41 in Post Falls.
This new branch announcement adds to the Credit Union's exciting expansion plans. Including the CdA branch, STCU has 3 new branch additions in the works including a branch in Downtown Spokane's Hutton Building ( opening in the first quarter of 2014) and the Argonne Financial Center along Argonne Rd. just south of the Argonne/ I-90 exit ( opening within the next 2 years).
STCU was founded by educators in 1934 and a member owned not for profit cooperative with some 116,000 member and 16 branch locations located though out Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
