Adding to the several long time Spokane business that have closed their doors over the last couple of years. INBW has learned that The Display House in Spokane Valley will be going out of business.The Display House is locally owned and operated and has been in business for over 30 years with their first location opening in Downtown Spokane in the 1970's . Today the business operates from a large free standing store at 6510 E. Sprague Ave just a few blocks east of the new Wal-Mart in Spokane Valley.
The Display House is a retailer of costumes , party supplies and various holiday décor. The business has also had smaller Halloween theme stores in area mall's in recent years as Halloween is the businesses main day.
The closure is a result of slow sales, the building that the business is in will go up ether for sale or lease. The store will officially close at the end of the year.
