Fabric chain retailer, Hancock Fabrics, recently relocated it's Spokane Valley location and brought along a new store business model to Spokane.
Hancock Fabrics , a Mississippi based chain of fabrics specialty stores had operated a store at 15530 E. Sprague Ave. , that location closed following the new store opening in mid November. The new Hancock Fabrics store is located at 15735 E. Broadway Suite 3E . The store is the end cap of the shopping center in front of the Spokane Valley Wal Mart. The store employs about 15.
As mentioned this new store brings with it a new model for the business. The new model focuses solely on the fabric side of the business, eliminating the chain's other products which include home décor , furniture, gifts , crafts and craft supplies . Other Spokane and Coeur d' Alene locations will continue with the chain's original store model.
Hancock Fabrics also operates local stores at 1020 W. Francis Suite H Spokane and 335 W. Hayden Shopping Center ( by Prairie and US 95 ) in Hayden.
