Aebleskivers may not be an the easiest name to pronounce but it is a name everyone will surely soon be hearing more and more as the business is planning to open their first ever full time location in Coeur d' Alene's Silver Lake Mall.
Aebleskivers is specialty bakery that serves, what else but... Aebleskivers. Aebleskivers are a traditional Danish dessert that resembles a donut hole but is somewhat different. Aebleskives sold by the local shop come in a few flavors and with a selection of toppings.
Some may already know the local Aebleskivers business as the store had a seasonal store around Christmas time in the Coeur d' Alene mall. Also, the business has had booths at the Kootenai County Farmers Market and several community festivals and fairs.
Aebleskivers new location will be nearby the mall's center court in space that was last the Divine Images Northwest photo studio. Silver Lake Mall is in North Coeur d' Alene off of Hanley Ave. in-between US 95 and Government Way.
