I must admit, with all the " bikini barista " coffee stands that have popped up all over Spokane & Coeur d' Alene , I'm surprised this business concept hasn't been tried yet. But it hasn't, until now.
The business concept, is an all male, shirtless coffee drive thru. With a grand opening this Friday ( Nov. 14th ) the stand will be called, Hot Cup of Joe . The stand is located just north of Downtown Spokane at 1602 N. Ash St. and is the former site of Taylor's Bean Shack.
Hot Cup of Joe's menu won't be too much different from any other coffee stand, with a decent selection of coffee and related products. The stand is owned by Chris Mullins and won't be quite as extreme as the bikini barista coffee stands where topless days, etc... have become common place. But it is still creating some discussion locally.
Male customers at Hot Cup of Joe will get $1 off their purchase and punch cards are available.
