Grand Opening for The Big Dipper coming May 17th

As we mentioned a couple of months ago, The Big Dipper, located at 171 S. Washington Ave. in Downtown Spokane is re-opening as a full live music venue / club. The Big Dipper's new life is coming as Dan Hoerner of the band, Sunny Day Real Estate has purchased the business and is now renovating the building and adding a fire sprinkler system to allow for larger events in the landmark Downtown business.

And now, The Big Dipper's official grand opening is almost here, this weekend in fact. The grand opening is planned to be a big event with three bands performing with the show being open to all ages. A bar will also be available with valid ID.

The Big Dipper grand opening will be Saturday May 17th at 7pm and will feature a following bands-
