TSA has opened a new office in Spokane Valley with the main purpose of enrolling local area travelers in the government agency's program that allows for faster and easier check in at many airports around the United States, including Spokane International Airport.
The new Spokane Valley TSA office offers enrollment in the that program, which is called Precheck. The Precheck program allows the traveler to already be known in the TSA's system so the traveler can do things like leave on shoes, outerwear, belts and even leave liquids and electronics in their cases in some airports. Precheck customers also use a different, usually shorter line at airport security.
The TSA Precheck program is available to be use at 118 airports, including Spokane but until now the closest place to enroll in the program was in Seattle.
The Spokane Valley TSA office is located in the same building as Absolute Drug Testing at 12510 E. Sprague Ave. Suite 7 , in between Pines and Evergreen Roads. The new office is open Tuesday – Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Walk ins are welcome but the office also takes appointments.
Enrollment in the Precheck program will take about 15 min. and costs $85 for a five year enrollment. The enrollment process also requires providing proof of indentity and US citizenship. Information on what to expect / bring to a Precheck enrollment meeting can be found at-

In addition to the new office, TSA also maintains it's offices and operations out at Spokane International Airport.
