Jenkins Java opens on Monroe & other changes to Alpine Bakery's building

Changes are in the works for the storefront space of Alpine Bakery Co. ,  at 810 N. Monroe, a few blocks north of Downtown Spokane. While Alpine Bakery is still in business, it's front space has been used as a coffee shop called Alpine Grind for the last several months. And beings us to the first change...

Alpine Grind relocates...

Alpine Grind is no longer the coffee shop at 810 N. Monroe. But Alpine Grind is still in business and will soon ( if not already ) re-open in the same space as a deli in the heart of Downtown Spokane.

Alpine Grind will be in with Our Daily Bread Deli at 120 N. Wall St.

Jenkins Java opens for business...

While the former coffee shop is now gone, you can still get a great coffee fix on N. Monroe as the space is now occupied by Jenkins Java , a new locally owned and operated coffee business with a cool new look.

Jenkins Java is actually already open for business at 810 , but the official grand opening will be during the week of the 23rd.

Jenkins Java serves a selections of espresso drinks, loose leaf teas and of course great drip coffee. Soda and some food items will also be available. They plan on starting with breakfast sandwiches and pastries from Alpine Bakery and hope to add lunch sandwiches soon. Gluten free items will also be made available using Alpine Bakery's dedicated gluten free baking space.

Currently the hours of operation for Jenkins Java are as follows-

Monday - Friday  7 - 3
